Spring Semester Art Students
Drawing students learned how to begin a drawing using the PLAN. They also learned how to apply value to their still life. Value is the way we see light on an object.
Pastel students learned how to apply color theory to their drawings. They learned that applying colors next to each other on the color wheel creates depth in their artwork. They also learned how to use complementary colors to diminish the saturation of bright colors.
Most importantly, all students continued to develop their hand/eye coordination as they sought to draw from still-lifes in the classroom.
